APPLICATION PROCEDURE SWB-A Attention: Dave Fehr Kalamalka Secondary School
If you have made it to this page - that is good news.
If you have discussed the program as a family and think you have what it takes- it is time to apply. You will be very glad you did.
You will need to be able to print from this computer. Use the buttons to the right to access needed application documents.
1.) Download and print the PROGRAM INFORMATION DOCUMENT. Read it carefully.
2.)Download and print the reference forms - this is a two page document.
Give one page to a respected teacher who knows you well (teacher reference form).
The other page should be given to a respected community member who knows you well, but is not a teacher (Character reference form).
Please fill in the date and your name on the reference request forms - then give them to the individuals you have selected.
Follow up with them a day or two later to see if they were able to complete the task. The form they fill out will only take 5 minutes to complete - they then submit BY fax, email OR return it to you in a sealed envelope.
3.) Now it is time to get serious. Your application could take an hour or more to complete. Set some time aside as you should complete it all at once. If you have completed the form on your computer email it to me at:

Be sure your parent(s) are around when you apply, so you can ask them for help. They also need to read the application with you, as they are required to sign portions of the application.
As you are completing the application online, we will get "real life" signatures as needed later, when we get together face to face.
Download the files you need, open the application and go for it.
